Carl W. McMichael, Jr.

September 12, 1975 — December 19, 2021

Carl W. McMichael, Jr., 46, of Kingston passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 19, 2021. He was born September 12, 1975 in Kingston and was the son of Beth McMichael and the late Carl W. McMichael, Sr. He was a 1993 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and a 1997 graduate of Bloomsburg University. Carl was a loving and caring father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was a kind soul with a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He especially enjoyed going to American Muffler to help his cousins out with whatever they needed. “X” as most of his friends knew him, (and he had plenty of them all over) was a diehard Washington Redskins and New York Mets fan. He loved celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and his Irish heritage. He was an avid golfer and could hit em’ with the best of them. If you knew “X” you knew he loved the Bee Gees and would look forward to when their tribute band would play at the Party on the Patio every year. Carl will be greatly missed by everyone but he is now reunited with the people he missed dearly, his dad, grandfather Teddy, and good friend Jay. Rest In Peace Carl ........Hail!!! He was preceded in death by his father, Carl W. McMichael, Sr., and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Martin. He is survived by his mother, Beth McMichael, Dallas; daughter, Summer McMichael, Kingston, sister, Bridget Stepanski, brother-in-law, Dan and niece Zoe Stepanski, Dallas; friend, Jessica Nieczykowski, Kingston, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends may call Monday, December 27, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Maher-Collins Funeral Home, 360 North Maple Avenue, Kingston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:15 in the Church of Saint Ignatius Loyola. Masks are recommended for those attending.
